Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar o jornalismo brasileiro no Japão do ponto de vista dos fatores que influenciam a produção de notícias. Foram analisadas as transformações pelas quais a imprensa brasileira no Japão, personificada nos jornalistas, sofre a partir da assimilação da cultura e modo de vida da sociedade japonesa, além da influência do sistema japonês de produção de notícias. Para isso, foram realizadas análises de conteúdo dos dois maiores jornais impressos em português no Japão, o International Press e o Jornal Tudo Bem, entrevistas com jornalistas brasileiros que atuaram ou atuam nesses periódicos, jornalistas japoneses e os trabalhadores brasileiros no Japão, o público-leitor dos periódicos acima mencionados.

This paper aims to analyze the Brazilian journalism in Japan in terms of the factors that influence the production of news. We analysed the changes for which the Brazilian press in Japan, embodied in journalists, suffers from the assimilation of the culture and way of life in Japanese society, as well as the influence of the mode of production of Japanese news. For this, tests were carried out on content from two major newspapers printed in Portuguese in Japan, the International Press and Jornal Tudo Bem, interviews with Brazilian journalists who worked or work in these journals, Japanese journalists and Brazilian workers in Japan, the public - reader of the journals analyzed them.
