A pesquisa relatada visa responder à questão: a arte pictórica é acessível ao cego?. Assim, a presente dissertação trata da fidelidade do entendimento tátil do cego e das imagens criadas em seu imaginário através da leitura tátil e reprodução por meio de suporte adaptado. Relata e discorre a respeito de como essas imagens são criadas por meio da multissensorialidade e a possibilidade da produção artística.

This research is aimed at answering the question? Is pictorial art accessible to the blind Thus, this dissertation covers the accuracy of the tactile understanding of the blind, and of the images created in his/her imagination through the tactile reading and reproduction by an adapted support. It describes and analyses how these images are created by multisensoriality and the possibility of artistic production.
