Objetivo: Este estudo descritivo com método qualitativo teve como objetivo verificar o impacto da inclusão da Odontologia do Trabalho na vida do servidor público sob a ótica do Cirurgião Dentista Especialista em Odontologia do Trabalho, pretendendo poder contribuir com a melhoria da Saúde do Trabalhador Estatutário como um direito; com a União reduzindo gastos com pagamento de benefícios pela Previdência Social e com Sociedade como um todo, visando analisar a percepção dos entrevistados em relação à inclusão da odontologia do trabalho no Serviço de Segurança e Saúde do Trabalhador Estatutário (Servidor Público). Método: O instrumento utilizado foi uma entrevista semiestruturada cujo roteiro básico incluiu questões referentes à saúde bucal dos trabalhadores. A coleta de dados foi realizada pela própria pesquisadora. Por questões éticas optou-se pela não identificação dos entrevistados. Para análise dos discursos utilizou-se a metodologia do discurso do sujeito coletivo. Resultados: O servidor público estadual e municipal não possui ainda atenção integral à sua saúde, enquanto não inserir uma vez que a coordenação de odontologia ocupacional; espera-se que com a implantação do Sistema Integrado de Atenção à Saúde do Servidor Público Federal as demais instâncias de governo se sensibilizem e implantem uma coordenação de odontologia do trabalho nas instâncias estaduais e municipais. Conclusões: A partir dos resultados pudemos concluir que a odontologia do trabalho representou um positivo impacto na promoção da saúde integral dos trabalhadores do serviço público, tanto no âmbito municipal quanto estadual. A existência da coordenação de odontologia ocupacional representa não só um aprimoramento do arcabouço legal, como também operacionaliza as ações periciais, preventivas e assistencialistas dos agravos ocupacionais dos servidores públicos.

Objective: This I study descriptive with qualitative approach had like objective verify to the impact of the enclosure of the Dentistry of the Work in the life of the public servant under the point of view of the Specialist Dentist Surgeon in Dentistry of the Work, intending be able to contribute with the improvement of the Health of the Statutory Worker as a right; with the Union reducing expense with payment of benefits by the social security and of him they interviewed regarding the enclosure of the dentistry of the work in the Service of Security and Health of the Statutory Worker (Public Servant). Method: The instrument utilized was an interview is structured whose basic script included questions regarding the mouth health of the workers. The fact-gathering was carried out by the own researcher. By questions ethics opted by the not identification of him interviewed. For analysis of the talks utilized itself the methodology of the talk of the collective subject. Results: The state public servant and municipal did not I possess still integral attention to his health, while do not insert since the coordination of occupational dentistry; wait itself that with the implementation of the System Integrated of Attention to the Health of the Federal Public Servant the too instances of government itself sensitize and implant a coordination of dentistry of the work in the municipal and state instances. Conclusions: From the results we could conclude that the dentistry of the work represented a positive impact in the promotion of the integral health of the workers of the so much, public service in the state as much as municipal scope. The existence of the coordination of occupational dentistry represents not alone an improvement of the lawful outline, as also operational the preventive, expert actions and assistance of the occupational appeals of the public servants.
