A violência escolar é um fenômeno mundial que afeta negativamente o desempenho acadêmico, saúde física, mental e bem-estar emocional tanto da vítima, quanto de perpetradores e testemunhas, gerando ansiedade, medo e insegurança. O presente estudo objetivou analisar a produção do conhecimento científico acerca das estratégias de prevenção da violência escolar utilizadas por profissionais da educação. Foram consultadas as bases de dados: PubMed, ERIC, PsycInfo e LILACS. Selecionamos 17 estudos que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão, e os dados foram analisados no Software Iramuteq 0.6 alpha 3. Os resultados indicaram que o desenvolvimento de programas de prevenção da violência escolar é a principal estratégia utilizada pelos profissionais da educação. Embora os estudos tenham utilizado técnicas multivariadas, houve convergência no que se refere ao desenvolvimento das habilidades sociais dos estudantes, promoção da autoestima e autoconhecimento. Esses estudos destacaram também a importância do envolvimento dos estudantes, da família e de toda a comunidade escolar para a redução da violência. Concluímos com esse estudo de revisão que os programas de prevenção da violência escolar propõem ações multidimensionais, incluindo articulação intersetorial que atenda à demanda de todos os envolvidos

School violence is a worldwide phenomenon that negatively affects the academic performance, mental and physical health and emotional well-being both from the victim and perpetrators and witnesses, creating anxiety, fear and insecurity. This study aimed to analyze the production of scientific knowledge on strategies of school violence prevention used by education professionals. The following data basis have been consulted: PubMed, ERIC, PsycInfo and LILACS. We selected 17 studies that attended to the criteria of inclusion, and the data was analyzed by the Iramuteq Software 0.6 alpha 3. The results showed that the development of school violence prevention programs is the main strategy used by education professionals. Although studies have used multivariate techniques, there has been a convergence in which refers to the development of the social skills of the students, promotion of self-esteem and self-knowledge. These studies also highlighted the importance of the student's involvement, the family and all the scholar community to reach a lower in violence. We conclude by this review study that school violence prevention programs propose multidimensional actions, including intersectoral articulation that attends to the demands of all those involved
