Este trabalho se debruça sobre a fotografia de paisagem buscando entendê-la como uma forma de resistência a um apagamento da experiência direta de mundo. Para tanto tomou-se como objeto de análise fotografias retiradas de dois fotolivros do artista italiano Luigi Ghirri: Kodachrome (1978) e Il profilo delle nuvole (1989). Os elementos analisados concentram-se sobre as questões do recorte espacial, da montagem, da luz e da cor, buscando entender como na obra do artista a fotografia é muito mais uma construção complexa de uma nova realidade, ou até mesmo de uma ficção, que uma mimese simples do mundo. Tal constatação emerge de um questionamento duplo: da realidade fotografada e da própria fotografia. A inquietação gerada por esse questionamento será abordada ao longo desta dissertação como elemento fundamental para a construção do estranhamento, cuja potência de ativação do olhar e ressignificação do lugar comum no cotidiano serão as chaves para a restituição da experiência direta de mundo.

This work focuses on landscape photography seeking to understand it as a form of resistance to an erasure of the direct experience of the world. For this purpose, photographs from two photo books by the Italian artist Luigi Ghirri: Kodachrome (1978) and Il profilo delle nuvole (1989) were taken as the objects of analysis. The elements analyzed focus on the issues of spatial cut, framing, light and color, trying to understand how, in the artist's work, photography is much more a complex construction of a new reality, or even a fiction, than a simple mimesis of the world. This observation emerges from a double questioning: of the photographed reality and of the photograph itself. The uneasiness provoked by this questioning will be approached throughout this dissertation as a fundamental element for the construction of defamiliarization, which power of activating the gaze and resignifying the common place in everyday life will be the keys to restitute a direct experience of the world.
