A impressão 3D é uma tecnologia que tem seus principais benefícios voltados para o setor corporativo, porém, cada vez mais, as pessoas têm a possibilidade de adquirir tais equipamentos, podendo modificar o modo com que os produtos são consumidos pelas pessoas ou por empresas. No mundo corporativo, tal tecnologia possibilita que as empresas modifiquem seus modelos de negócio, incorporando-a em seus processos ou criando novos modelos. Nesse sentido, o presente estudo identificou os desenhos de negócio de impressão 3D e possibilitou a compreensão de como essas empresas utilizam a impressão 3D e se organizam, permitindo uma visão desse ecossistema. São apresentados os estudos de mercado do setor de impressão 3D, as principais tecnologias de impressão 3D e os principais conceitos de modelos de negócio - conceitos essenciais para facilitar a compreensão de como as empresas se organizam para atender o mercado que atuam. Nesta pesquisa de caráter exploratório, foram realizadas entrevistas (roteiro semiestruturado) com profissionais que trabalham ou trabalharão com a tecnologia de impressão 3D. Como resultado, foi possível classificar as empresas em sete modelos de negócio distintos, permitindo, assim, que as empresas que já atuam no setor e novos entrantes compreendam estes modelos de negócio e possam utilizá-los, aperfeiçoá-los ou mesmo desenvolver novos modelos para atender demandas ainda não identificadas.

3D printing is a technology that has the main benefits focused on the corporate sector, but more and more people have the possibility to purchase such equipment, thus being able to modify the way products are consumed, by people or companies. In the corporate world such technology enables companies to modify their business models by incorporating into their processes or creating new models. Thus, the present study identified the 3D printing business models and made it possible to understand how these companies use 3D printing and organize themselves, allowing a vision of the ecosystem of these companies. Market studies of the 3D printing industry, the main 3D printing technologies, as well as key business model concepts are essential to facilitate understanding of how companies are organized to serve the market. Exploratory research, interviews were conducted with semi-structured script with professionals who work or will work with 3D printing technology. With the result of this research it was possible to classify companies into seven distinct business models, thus allowing companies that already operate in the sector and new entrants to understand these business models and can use them, improve them or even develop new models to meet unidentified demands.
