O objetivo do estudo é analisar a situação do lazer da mulher bancária da cidade de São Paulo e os fatores que dificultam a manutenção de um equilíbrio sadio entre o lazer e o trabalho dessa profissional. Expõe as consequências psicossociais da sociedade contemporânea nos indivíduos. Verifica a proposta dos teóricos do lazer em relação às medidas econômicas que beneficiariam a expansão do tempo livre e dos impactos do sistema econômico vigente sobre o bem-estar da sociedade. Aborda a questão do espaço urbano da megalópole paulistana e suas interferências no lazer do cidadão. Por fim, realiza uma análise acerca dos resultados obtidos em pesquisa com bancárias selecionadas acerca das dificuldades do lazer contemporâneo e suas relações com a crítica apresentada no referencial teórico. Como conclusão, constatasse que há elevada fadiga dessas trabalhadoras e prejuízo relacionado ao lazer causado pelos dilemas da sociedade contemporânea

The objective of the study is to analyze the situation of the banking leisure woman in the city of São Paulo and the factors that make it difficult to maintain a healthy balance between leisure and work of this professional. Exposes the psychosocial consequences of contemporary society in individuals. Verifies the proposal of theoretical leisure in relation to economic measures that would benefit the expansion of free time and the impact of the current economic system on the welfare of society. It addresses the issue of urban space of São Paulo megalopolis and its interference in the citizen leisure. Finally, performs an analysis of the results obtained in research with bank selected on the difficulties of contemporary leisure and its relations with the criticism made in the theoretical framework. Features result in high fatigue of these workers and the loss related to leisure caused by dilemmas of contemporary society
