Abstract in English
Stem cell research have demonstrated that this alternative therapy has great potential in various diseases. However, much remains to be elucidated about the mechanisms of action, dosage and best means of implementation, so that alternative therapy may be incorporated other. In this context, the route of application becomes crucial in the effectiveness of treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the model of acute tubular necrosis (NTA) induced by glycerol the potential for migration of mesenchymal stem cells derived from human dental pulp, using the intraperitoneal and intravenous route. Our results demonstrate that this model, there is no difference in cell migration to the target organ, the kidney. However, the intravenous route provided an improvement in renal function more significantly than when compared to the intraperitoneal route.
